Regency Removal

Old hot tub? We’ll take it from here.

It came with the house, or it stopped working three winters ago, and now it is a very heavy piece of garden furniture. We break it down, haul it out and dispose of it properly. You do not have to buy anything from us to book it.

How it goes

Four steps, one visit.

1. Tell us what we are dealing with

Rough size, whether it still runs, and — the important one — how we get to it. A gate, a flight of steps and a crane are three very different jobs.

2. We quote it properly

A price based on the actual job, not a number that changes when the crew arrives and sees the deck.

3. We disconnect and break it down

Drained, electrically disconnected and cut down to pieces that can be carried out. Most spas cannot leave a yard in one piece, and that is normal.

4. It goes away

Hauled off and disposed of, with materials separated where they can be. Your deck is left swept and your gate is left shut.

Worth knowing

Access is the whole price.

Everything else about a removal is predictable. Whether the spa can be carried straight out to a driveway, or has to come over a fence, is the part that moves the number. Send a photo of the route and the quote gets a lot more accurate.

What do you need doing?

Questions people actually ask

Removal questions

Do I need to drain it first?

No. We drain it as part of the job. If you want to save time you can start it draining the day before, but do not disconnect anything electrical yourself.

It is on a raised deck. Is that a problem?

It is a factor, not a problem. Decks change how the spa comes apart and how the pieces come down. Tell us it is on a deck when you enquire and we will price it correctly the first time.

What happens to it?

It is hauled away and disposed of, with materials separated where they can be. A shell is largely acrylic and foam, and the frame and equipment are handled separately.

Do you buy old hot tubs?

Not for cash. If yours still runs, it may be worth something against a new spa — that is the trade-in route, and it needs an inspection before anyone quotes a figure.

How much notice do you need?

Usually days rather than weeks, though winter is busier. If a closing date or a landscaper is driving the timing, say so and we will work to it where we can.
