Dry it weighs 769 pounds. Full, with people in it, you are closer to 4,300 pounds. That needs a proper pad or a deck an engineer has looked at — not paving slabs laid on soil.
Power
This one runs on a standard 120-volt household outlet — the pump specification is 1.5 BHP 2-Spd 120 V. No electrician, no trench, no permit wait. The trade-off is a slower reheat after a long soak in January, which matters less than people expect if you keep the cover on.
Colorado winters
At 295 gallons this is a smaller volume of water, so the cover does more of the work. A good cover, kept in good condition, is the single biggest thing you control. Put it somewhere sheltered from the prevailing wind if you have the choice, and think about where the snow comes off your roof.
